Isaiah 19:1-21:17, Galatians 2:1-16 , Psalms 59:1-17, Proverbs 23:13-14

Today is the 15th day of September. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian. It’s great to be here with you today. And we’re ending another week. I think this puts us directly in the middle of the month of September. So, we continue to move forward. And we’ve been reading from the New International Version all this week, which is what we’ll do today. And we’ll go back out into the book of Isaiah and read chapters 19-21 today.

Prayer:

Father, we thank You for another week in Your word. We thank You for bringing us through here to the center of another month. And as we contemplate the time we’ve spent together in Your word this year, we see the mighty work that You have done in our hearts and lives. The way that You subtly, and yet forcefully,  change the way we look at things as You change us from the inside out. And we’re grateful. We’re grateful for all of Your leading and all of Your guidance because You will only lead us into the truth. This is Your promise. So come, Holy Spirit.  Lead us into all truth, we pray. In Jesus name, we ask. Amen.

Community Prayer and Praise:

Hi, this is Ashley from Nottingham I’m a first time caller. I’m just asking for prayer from the community because for several years now I’ve had a keloid scar on my chest that’s been growing. And it’s really hard to treat. And every treatment I’ve tried hasn’t worked. Every time I just get much more insecure about how I look and I’ve just been praying for healing but I feel like God hasn’t answered. And I just want everyone to pray for increased faith to just plea that God can heal, if not through a miracle then just conventional medical care. But also just to not be affected by the work done at the __, to really know who Christ is. I am. I truly believe that regardless of anything that may happen that with y physical health. I thank you all for praying and for everything that you do. God bless.

Hi my name is Micah. I’m a first time caller. I don’t have…I don’t have a __ name right now I but I have been really enjoying the Daily Audio Bible since the beginning of this year and it’s been wonderful. My church actually encourages all of us to listen to it. So, you know, if there’s any redemption offers here, __. But…okay…the reason I’m calling…they told me in the little thing I should get to it pretty quickly. I am getting married in November, so about two months from now and I couldn’t be more excited or more terrified to be doing that. She’s an amazing woman and God has blessed me beyond belief to be able to marry her. But I recently confessed a struggle to her, a struggle that I’ve had for most, if not all of my life, with pornography. And…I don’t know where to be with this whole struggle. I don’t know how to fight it. So, I’m…I’m asking for prayer that God would just continue to lead me. I believe that He is leading me into a time of fasting in the 53 some odd days that I have left before I get married and I just don’t know what to fast from. I know obviously, porn. But I would love your prayers for God to reveal to me how I can best be focused on Him in this. And, yeah, I love hearing all your prayer requests. You’re an amazing group of people and I’m happy to be a part of this community. I love you all. Bye.

Yeah, this is David in South Carolina. There’s something really sad that… On the Daily Audio Bible in the Psalm 51, where David confesses to __ ask God to get created in him a clean heart. Also in the chronological it was Ezekiel 39 and 37 and part of that was where God was gonna to take the dried up bones in the valley and re-create life so that… Well it’s been…I’ve been wanting to tell you that’s awesome. And my son that I’ve been, he…he has managed to get into a 180 day rehab with the Salvation Army in Charlotte South Carolina. And that’s the day I took him up there and left him. And that’s kinda what I gave him when he went into rehab instead of really trying to do what I normally do, which is not very good. I just said son, __ I would __ that Psalm 51 is my confession and read the Bible verses about __ the dry bones as the promise and see what God can do for you. So, I just want to ask that we just lift up my son Tim to you guys for prayer, that’s the main thing. He’s gonna be there for six months. I mean I hope he doesn’t bail out. I don’t know where he is but he seems to be in a different place than where he’s been before when he was trying to play the system but that’s really between him and God. And I’m just asking for prayer. Thank you. And you guys are really doing a great job. Just keep up the good work. Thank you very much.

Good day everyone on the Daily Audio Bible app. This is Kurt calling from Massachusetts. Today is September 12th. I traveled yesterday by plane and obviously was moved by the remembrance of what happened September 11th. And I wanted to pray for all those affected, pray for our country, and also I want to pray for all of those who are in the path of the hurricane that’s about to hit the Carolinas. Probably by the time this is played you’ll be in the thick of it. So, I pray that you’ve had the opportunity to get out, find shelter, and that you’re home and will be saved and your lives will be saved and everything will be okay. Last, I want to pray for this ministry and to those of you that have made a donation and part of the daily audio Bible, of course, we all applaud you. For those who haven’t, I’d encourage you to consider it because I know I personally depend on the Daily Audio Bible, not every day but most days, to help me get through the week, persevere, and succeed. And that’s worth something. So, hopefully you’ll consider making a donation today. Thank you everyone. Have a great week. Be safe. Bye-bye.
