Today is the 25th day of August. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian. It is great to be here with you as we reach out collectively and spin the knob or turn the knob and walk under the beautiful, sparkly, shiny gate into this new sparkly shiny week. It is great to be here with you to take the next steps forward. And I mentioned to you that we were completing week 33. So, if my math is right and I think it’s right, this is…we’re entering the 34th week of the year. So. We’re working our way through the book of Job. We will continue to do that. It’s just a new week. And, so, this week we will read from the New International version. And, so, we will pick up in Job where we left off yesterday. Today we’ll read Job chapters 16 through 19.
Prayer:
Father, we thank You for Your word and we thank You for escorting us and through Your word day by day step-by-step to this point in the year end as we move into this new week. When it’s all out there in front of us, we haven't…we haven’t made any mistakes yet, we haven’t done anything right yet. All is out there for us to decide and we invite Your Holy Spirit into every thought, every word, every deed of our lives as we take the next steps forward into our lives through the next few days. Come Holy Spirit we pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Good morning Daily Audio Bible, this is Jarrod the Encourager calling to remind myself of the goodness of God and the things we have to be thankful for and to encourage my heart as I hope to encourage you as well. You know, sometimes we wake up and the birds are loud, sometimes waking us sooner than we wanted too, but I’ve been using it lately to remember the verses in Matthew six that wakes me with the thought that God is providing for all of our needs, that He provides for those birds out the door and that He’s gonna provide for me that day and if He loves those birds then I’m gonna love those birds and be thankful for those birds. The grass of the field remember that we are much more valuable than they. His love never ends, His mercy is new every morning. So, let that be hope and encouragement to you as you face the trials of life. And I appreciate your prayers as I continue to run after God, to seek him. in everything in the season of separation with my wife, that I would look to Him, that I would see the best, that I would be able to walk in the knowledge of who I am and not in the way the circumstances look but that I would have hope because of the light of life that is shining into my window every morning and that’s shining there available to you as well. Hi DAB family this Chandra from Maryland. I just want to leave a message. Today is August 21st. Of course, I’m still catching up with the broadcast, but I am listening to the broadcast from the 13th where Brian was talking about Nehemiah and the wall. And one thing that he pointed out as a sense of encouragement was that Nehemiah, no matter all the opposition that he was going through and dealing with, he was still trying to press and still trying to build the wall. And I guess that’s just my way of saying it. I wanted to say that really encouraged me because the Lord showed me some things from years ago and, of course, when I first started I was like, “yay, I’m gonna do this” and I tried to get a jumpstart on it but what I really didn’t know was that this dream was bigger than me and it’s a God-given dream and I know that…I know now that the Lord is taking me through step-by-step and I can’t sit there and try to go faster than, you know, what my ability is. I have to learn and grow and stuff like that. But I just wanted to say that I love you guys and, you know, of course since I’m listening to the podcast, I am praying for everybody whose prayers I hear. I can’t call anybody out specifically, but thank you Brian and Jill for this platform that you all set up as well as everyone who consistently leaves words of encouragement and prayers and those people who are working in the background to assist in making this happen. Hi Daily Audio Bible my name is Lisa and I live in Lititz Pennsylvania. I am finally calling to please ask you to pray for our daughter Breanna. Most people just call her Bree. When she was six years old, she was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, which we’ve been hearing about seems like a lot from the DAB prayer line lately and also celiac disease. She will be turning 20 years old this Sunday on August 25th and a huge praise is that she’s never once had to be hospitalized for the cystic fibrosis. I am calling to ask you to pray for her and her heart and her mind. She accepted the Lord when she was younger but like so many that I’ve been hearing about, she turned away from the Lord. So, please pray that her eyes will be open to what’s true and that the Lord would give us wisdom and that we will be yielded to the Holy Spirit’s guidance on what to say and when to say it and when to keep our mouth shut and let other people speak truth into her life. But if you could just pray for her, her name again is Breanna, or Bree people call her Bree, and thank you so much praying.
My beloved friends this is Angel from California. The reason why I haven’t been calling is because I went on vacation for nine days with my son. We went all the way to Seattle Washington and Portland Oregon and all of those places, and we had so much fun. And praise the living Lord for letting us get there safe and come back. I just wanted to let you know that this August the 10th was my first year that the Lord graciously…just blessed me and I’m alive. And I wish to tell you guys my testimony for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. And that is, I had a surgery and my surgery August the 10th, 2018 went amazingly well. My surgery was for two aneurysms embedded in my brain that were supposed to take 2 to 3 hours. The doctor performed the surgery. It was the best from LA…UCLA. When the doctors were performing the surgery, they found six aneurysms and God blessed me with His favor. My doctor who is a very good doctor assisted and they went in and they found six aneurysms, so they placed six stents and the surgery lasted six hours. I have the Daily Audio Bible family praying for me and my surgery was a success. I was sent home on August 11th, 2018 and God is still on the throne and prayer changes things. Psalm 91 is a prayer…
