Today is the 8th day of August. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I’m Brian. It is great to be here with you today like every day taking the next step forward through our weeks and months and adding them all up and making a year in the Bible going through the entire Bible in a year. And, so, here we are, August 8th, and we’re reading from the Gods Word Translation this week. Today Ezra chapter 7 verse 1 through 8 verse 20.
Prayer:
Father, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your kindness. We thank you for your long-suffering. We thank you for your patience. We thank you that you have rescued us from the pit, you have come for us, that you are always present to us. We thank you for your word, that no matter what’s going in our life, no matter how murky things may look, we have something tangible that we can hold in our hands as this gift to orient us to you no matter where we are. And, so, come Holy Spirit, plant the words spoken from your word today into our hearts, into our minds. May we be fertile soil that the fruit of the Spirit might grow within us. We pray these things in the name of Jesus. Amen.
