Joshua 7:16-9:2, Luke 16:1-18, Psalms 82:1-8, Proverbs 13:2-3
Today is the 13th day of April. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian. It is a pleasure and an honor to be here with you as we and another of the ever flowing weeks and coming to you from the More Gathering here at the top of Sharp Top mountain. At this point in the journey, even though it’s been a day really, a day and half, it feels like a week and a half and we’re kind of reaching the halfway point and moving through into the second half of our time together, which will end tomorrow. And yet it’s never anything short of profound. It’s beautiful to watch what God does in such a short amount of time by just offering Him some space, just giving Him some space in our lives. So, thank you for your continued prayers over all that’s happening here. And let’s finish this week well by taking the next step forward in the Scriptures. We’ve been reading from the New International Version this week and today we will continue the journey forward. If we remember yesterday, Jericho the first conquest, the city of conquest was taken but then the second battle for a small village named Ai was met with defeat. And, so, everyone’s trying to sort out what’s going on. Joshua chapter 7 verse 16 through 9:2 today.
Prayer:
Father, we thank You for another week. As we conclude today, we conclude another of our weeks together in the Scriptures. We thank You for bringing us this far. We thank You for all that You’ve done in our lives thus far in this year alone and we look with great anticipation for all that You have yet to do as Your word washes into our lives each and every day. So, as we release this week and allow it to become a part of our history and look forward to the coming week we invite Your Holy Spirit’s here on to this mountaintop where the More Gathering is taking place. Holy Spirit we thank You for all that You are doing and what You will continue to do in this time. And as we move into the new week and all of us prepare to make our ways back to our homes we ask for Your mercy over the travel, over the stamina, over health, and over all that You are planting in our lives. But we don’t want to get too far ahead of ourselves. That’s not until tomorrow. So, we want to be here, now and invite You fully. Come Holy Spirit into this day, no matter where we may be on this planet we ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I was just really hurt along with you that you did not get to meet your biological father and that you had made a plan to meet him this summer with your brother but then a couple days later he passed away. That’s just really painful and I’m so sorry…I’m so sorry. May God heal your heart and bring you unexpected comfort. You are innocent, and the enemy really, really tries to use these kinds of things to bring guilt and shame, but you are…you are completely innocent so keep your eyes on the Lord Jesus. Thank goodness it’s the time of year when we celebrate His life and death and resurrection on our behalf. He’s got you covered my beautiful sister and just know that we’re praying for you and please call in again sometime. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face shine upon you and give you peace.
Hi, everyone my name is Maria. I’ve been listening to the Daily Audio Bible now since January when a friend introduced me to it and I just want to say that this has been such an incredible part of my day to start out each morning. It’s so encouraging and also humbling just listening to everybody’s stories and prayer requests and just getting to hear the word each morning. So, thank you Brian and Jill and everybody else on the team who makes this possible. I just wanted to say that, and I was just encouraged to call in because I feel like I often don’t ask for things when I need it and I could just use some prayer right now for __ His guidance and an opportunity to work closer to home to be closer to my husband and my daughter who is now eight months old. I really just would love to be able to see them more and not have to commute so far. It would be amazing to one day become a stay at home mom and God willing if that happens it would be such a blessing but I could just use a prayer for that right now if you guys think of it and I appreciate your time. My mother had retinoblastoma and she did lose an eye, but God has given her a beautiful life and I’m sure that everything will be fine with Cassidy with the prayers that are coming in for her.
