Deuteronomy 4:1-49, Luke 6:39-7:10, Psalms 68:1-18, Proverbs 11:28
Today is the 25th day of March, welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I’m Brian and, of course, it’s great to be here with you at the threshold of a brand-new, shiny, sparkly, week and I will. I actually look forward to saying that because that’s what it is. We are stepping into a new week. Nothing’s happened yet. We have the opportunity to choose ahead of time, wisdom. Nothing can separate us from the love of God as we walk into this new week. And it can be a beautiful week, no matter what comes our way. So, we can choose now, and we do. And one of the ways we make that choice is to remain in the rhythm of Scripture and to remain in community with each other as we move forward. So, we’ll read from the common English Bible this week. And today, Deuteronomy chapter 4. And by way of review, Deuteronomy is three different lengthy discussions that Moses has. And they’re the final things that he says before he disappears from history and from the Bible. Of course, he’ll be referenced many times in the Bible, but for his life ends. And, so, we’re in the middle of the first of those discussions. Deuteronomy chapter 4.
Prayer:
Father, we thank You for your word because as You were saying in the gospel of Luke, this helps us to build our house on a firm foundation. However, we acknowledge what You were saying, it’s not just about absorbing or hearing your word, it’s about obeying it. So, we invite Your Holy Spirit’s into this brand-new week. Help us Father to retain and remember and listen and obey. Help us to be vigilant about staying aware and awake and in collaboration with You. This is such an amazing offer. This can be one of the best weeks of our lives if we will simply walk with you, obey you, seek your counsel, enjoy your fellowship. And that’s what we intend to do. Come, Holy Spirit. We pray in Jesus name’. Amen.

Hi Daily Audio Bible this is Rebecca from Michigan and it’s March 22nd. Please pray for bus number seven because kids were starting to act up and sometimes the school don’t back you up and the parents don’t back you up and we’re just trying to make it safe so the kids don’t get hurt. And a couple of days ago a bigger city bus hit one of our school buses and there were kids in there. So, I don’t want the kids to get hurt if something like that happens. And when I tell them to sit down they’re not listening. So, I just want prayer for them right now, that God would help them accept me and listen to me. And I ask you for guidance. And that the principal and the students would back me up on safety issues. And as soon as the parents are listening to me __ school buses and stuff. It’s really dangerous __ hit somebody and I want them to really listen. So, I want prayer for my buss. Angels of God of honor. Lord of Jesus honor. Protection with the kids and safety and that they will respect me. I don’t have actually issues with the other schools that I have on. I just have just disrespect from one elementary school that doesn’t really listen to me. And it seems to get out of hand…the closer its gets to summer the more it gets out of hands. At first __ I usually set the ruse down and then I get friendly and start talking to them but they…
Hi this is Victoria S. just calling tonight to pray for some of the DABbers. I want to pray for Jordan from Michigan. I’m so sorry to hear about the engagement being broken Jordan. My prayer is with you that God will mend it or He will give you someone else who will still love you even with the challenges you’ve been through. That’s what it’s all about. We have challenges but we work them out. That’s what we have to continue to do. I want to pray for Wayne whose plan for the children and I’m definitely with you on praying for the children and the strongholds and the drugs that’s trying to take over them, shooting that’s going on in the schools. I’m deftly with you on praying for the children. I’m praying for Joanne from New Jersey and also John from Florida. Precious Father, we praise you and me magnify you. Lord we just ask you to touch Jordan Lord. Lord he’s was all excited to be the man that finded the wife that finded a good thing and painted favor with the Lord. And Lord his dreams got shattered for a few minutes. But Lord you are able to do exceedingly Lord. You bless him Lord. You open doors for him and this young woman Lord in the name of Jesus. Lord You can touch any heart. You can touch a heart and make it a heart of flesh that they will be one. Lord the one that You have for him. Lord we ask You to touch our children Lord. The children Lord on every hand, Lord the stronghold the, depression, the anxiety Lord, those that are going to school shooting Lord, those that need somebody Lord, they need…they’re going through in the schools with the bullying and the harassing Lord, help them to touch…help them to find an answer to the shooting. Help us to find an answer to the stronghold. That’s all in your Lord. The answer…
Hey everybody this is Pelham from Birmingham or Addicted to Christ or it might be Surrendered to Christ at this point I’m not sure. It might be changing. I’m calling today to tell everyone that the sun is rising. The sun, it came up today. It’s a beautiful day outside. And I’m also calling to tell so many people how sorry I am that I’ve been so selfish and I haven’t been able to spend time praying for them and talking about what they are going through and caring for them when so many people have cared for me. And I apologize. There’s so many people that I want to thank that I have to start writing it down because I can’t remember it. All I know is Blind Tony, your poem from the other day had me fist pumping in the air at the end. It was one of the best pieces of art that I’ve experienced my friend. And the way you see the world is a way that I can comprehend. It’s an honor sir. And there’s so many other people out there that I want to mention that I don’t…I listen to the prayers when I can and when things are okay and when the time is there. My instruction…very clearly…the word for sure…the word and Brian, if want knowledge added to some truth. And then the word, Brian, and prayer if you want bonus points if you really want to play, if you really want to do what I told you to do and start walking. Anyways I love you guys. And thank you. Hello Daily Audio Bible family. My name is Casey am calling from Denver Colorado. Today was a hard day for me. My mom called me. I haven’t seen her in 12 years. We had a relationship but it’s been broken. She was diagnosed with bone cancer today and I’m flying out this weekend to Louisville to see her. My mom, my stepmom, brought me to the Daily Audio Bible three years ago. So, I just wanted to tell you all thank you. Thank you for your humanity and letting me share in your lives and letting me pray for you. And I’m asking for your prayers this weekend with me in my stepmom and family are talking and I realize this is also the weekend that Brian is going to be in Louisville. And we both just sat there and got chills because my mom needs to know the Lord and I need to know that she knows the Lord. So, please pray for us. She’s having tests done on Monday to help determine where she’s at in this process. And I just pray that the outcome is that she’s healed. So, please pray that with me. Thank you all so much for your prayers and again thank you so much for letting me share in your lives. Pray with me this weekend. And Brian and Jill I’m looking forward to seeing you on Sunday.
