Welcome once again to the Daily Audio Bible. I’m Jill, filling in for Brian who’s usually here but is taking a much needed day of recuperation and rest and restoration and rejuvenation in all of the “re” words that come with doing such a grueling trip like Israel. So, it is good to be here with you today on this 5th day of March, and it is so good that we can be here together as we align our hearts around the living breathing word of God through Scripture. And we are starting today as we always do, in the Old Testament. Numbers chapter 4 and we’re reading through 5 and we’re continuing this week in the New Living Translation.
Prayer:
Jesus, we thank You for Your word, we thank You that it is a double-edged sword, and the truth often times, it can hurt and it often times cuts us, and we find our hearts and our minds offended. We’re usually offended because there’s a great amount of truth and it just takes us off guard. Often times the truth offends the mind to reveal the heart, but we know that You are the way, the truth, and the life and Your word is truth. It is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto my path. So, Father I pray that truth would lead us to a place of repentance and in that repentance would ultimately lead us to a place of change. And Father with You then lead us to a place where change is irrevocable, where we no longer want the things that we formally wanted, we no longer desired the things we formally desired. If truth is truly what we’re after then God would You speak truth to our hearts and our minds, our spirits, our souls. Give us ears to hear and eyes to see and a heart that truly beats for You. We love You Lord and we are truly so lost without You. So, we invite You into every part of our day, for those that are just getting started listening to this podcast as they begin their day and those that are ending their day as they lay their head down to go to sleep tonight. Lord, would You fill our minds, our hearts, our spirits with Your truth. And we thank You for this community, we thank You for every person that longs to know You more, for Eeery person that longs to read through this word in a year God, that You would speak something new, that You would speak in ways You’ve never spoken to them before, that they would hear new things that they have never heard before. Lord, for some people that they would hear Your voice for the very first time. We thank You Lord for a day and an age where the Internet has changed everything. You have found a way for Your word to go forth. We love You, we thank You, we praise You, we worship You. You are good and holy and righteous and just and merciful and kind and loving to all of us. Bless this day, bless this night, bless this new mercy, and bless Brian as he rests and comes back tomorrow. In the name of the Father, the son, and the Holy Spirit.

Hey guys, this is joyful James and I’m calling right now to pray for Tim in Tampa. And my heart really went out to you buddy. I could feel you. I’ve actually been there man and I understand. And I felt like God was talking to me recently and He reminded me, He said, your hopelessness about the situation is worse than the situation. And it really got me to thank, well, what if I need to focus my attention not on what I’m not or what I don’t have but on God again. Focus my attention on His promises, His capability, His…and that led me to extreme gratitude and gratitude for everything, even my trials and my tribulations because all of it is for His glory and He loves us so much that we get…when we go to that stuff that brings…you know…it makes us into diamonds, you know, extreme pressure illuminates the…I mean…brings out the diamonds out of coal I think it is…not sure. But I want to pray for you Tim. Lord I just lift up my brother Tim to You right now and I ask that You would open his eyes to see and open his ears to hear the song that Your continually singing over his life, the dance that Your continually dancing over his life and the amount…the amount of mighty love that You have for Tim Lord just as he is right now, where he is at. Lord, I ask that his heart would be receptive to this mighty love and I thank You for all that You’re doing in Tim. To You be the glory. We trust You God. In Your holy name. Amen. Good morning Daily Audio Bible family this is Grace in Tampa. I’m calling in…I’ve been praying for you all. I love you all. A woman called in today and her daughter had been going through…or had been abused in her past, she was being admitted to an institution today. I’m praying for you. I can’t even articulate it. I pray in the Spirit for every one of you. A woman called in today for her pastor’s son, Noah, who has been experiencing seizures. I’m the praying for you. A gentleman called in whose son had been hearing voice. I’m praying for you. And a woman called in and there was an issue with her son Daniel. I couldn’t make it all out, but God hears your prayer and I’m standing in agreement with you. I’m calling today because I don’t…I just need prayer. I come to these places in my…you know…in my life with my family where I…over the course of time I start asking…acting out…but people won’t say it to me because I am very outspoken and it sometimes difficult for them to even get me to hear. And we’re back at one of those places and I’m far from the victim in this situation but I don’t want to be a problem anymore and I’ve run out of innovative ways to change myself. So, I just need…if you would pray for me, that God would walk with me as I walk with Him to just change little by little so that I don’t go back to how I had been. I love you all and I thank you already for your prayers, it’s so important. Bye.
Hi Daily Audio Bible family, my name is Reina I live in California. I am a three-year listener __ before, but you all are my family, so I trust you that you will lift me up in prayer and my children, Victor, Sophia, and Vincent. We are just a family that’s been destroyed by Satan. My children are 24, 21, and 20 years old. So, they are older now. I suffer from fibromyalgia, which they don’t understand and I’m struggling with this autoimmune disease and I just pray that God would put this into remission for a little while longer. It’s a struggle to go to work. I love my job. I draw blood. I’m a phlebotomist, but I might lose my job, I’m not sure. I have a fiancé that…we’re hoping to get married in September, but he’s a loving man of God. So, anyways I often pray for all of you and I listen more than I call in and I’m always praying for all of you. And please just lift me up in prayer, my children to come back to Jesus. And I love the Lord with all my heart, but my children are just so far off and I’m struggling with this autoimmune disease that is taking my life away and…

I too am fearfully and wonderfully made just like David said
You even took the time to number and count every single hair that is on my head
and what is man that You are mindful of him
here for a few days eyes growing dim
stubborn disobedient always wanting to have things his own way
refusing to acknowledge You day after day
but like You said in Your word eventually every tongue will have to confess
that it is only by Your great grace and mercy that we all are also abundantly
