Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Jill Brian’s wide and the birthday boy is recouping as he should be on his birthday. Happy 14th birthday Brian. He starts counting his years in life now through Daily Audio Bible years. So, babe, happy birthday. Thank you for leading us all so well. So, we’ll do cake and celebratory songs and all that later but for right now we are here to center ourselves around the word of God. It’s what we do every day on the Daily Audio Bible and Brian has done it for 14 years every single day. The Bible has been read fresh every day for 14 years. Well done, my love. Marching forth right now in the Old Testament and we’re reading in the New Living Translation today beginning with Numbers chapter 2.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your word. Thank You for this community, this place where we can center ourselves around the living breathing word of God. We thank You for the journey of Israel and the pilgrimage that we can put our faith to the test and go and see all of the places, where we can put our faith to the test and go and see and go and see and we can walk where You walked, we can go just look at places and people that are walking where You walked and we can breathe in the air and the land of the Bible. Thank You for the transformation that took place of every heart of the people that went. We thank You for our fearless leader and thank You for bringing them home safely and we just thank You for his life on this day of celebration where we celebrate his life and we celebrate him who said yes to the call and I just pray that You would give him rest today for his body and his mind, his soul and for every person that travelled God, that You would just as they reacclimate into the world, into real life the transition would be smooth and seamless. We love You and thank You for every person in this community who longs to know You more, who longs to know Your word and understand Your word. Help us to hide Your words in our heart so that we may not sin against You. Thank You for this day. Thank You for the sun that is shining here but we thank You God that in every season even in every season of long and hard and cold You are there, You are with us, You are in the midst, and You are for us. We love You. In the name of the Father, the son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

So, as I stated earlier, it is somebody’s birthday. Happy, happy, happy birthday to our fearless leader. I think this may be one for the first times ever that he has not been here on his birthday. And, so, he’s not gonna make a big deal out of it, so I get to. So, happy birthday Brian. Happy 14th DAB birthday. We are so proud of you, we are so thankful for you. We love you. I might get teary. I see what goes on behind the scenes every single day and I am the type of person that I want you to know what I’ve been doing, and I want you to see me and acknowledge it and suffer just a little bit if I have suffered, but Brian is not like that. That is not his way. And, so, he will never complain, and he will never tell you all he does behind the scenes. But I see it, I know it. So, this is where we break out the balloons and the cake and as I stated earlier it is somebody’s birthday happy, happy, happy birthday to our fearless leader. Lots to mention today. Okay. The other thing that we want to mention to you is some of you, lots of you, many of you have reached out and said that you would like to bless China and Ben in their marriage in some small way and you’ve asked how to do that. So, we have collectively met as a family and as a team and said what is the best way to do that so that you all feel included and for those of you that want to be a part of it. I mean, we obviously cannot invite the whole world to the wedding, we could if, you know, she was the queen of something or the Princess of something. Well she’s our princess, but she would like a small intimate wedding. And, so, we are going to honor and bless her and that. Community Prayer and Praise:
Hello DAB brothers and sisters this is Abiding in Him calling to pray for Tim in Tampa. Heavenly Father I just thank You for my brother Tim. He has been a blessing to me, to my wife and to my children and to my family over the years with his prayers and encouragements Lord. I count it a privilege to be able to come before the throne on his behalf heavenly Father and ask for Your blessings to be over him. He is a husband, he is a Father heavenly Father and Lord he has responsibilities on his shoulders Lord and people are sensing that he is off and he’s lacking, and he needs renewal and a refreshing Lord. And as a man I can understand walking into those places heavenly Father and needing a touch from You to be refocused and to move forward Lord. And I just thank You Lord that his life is not done but there’s much left for You to accomplish through him and I pray Your blessing to be over him Lord. Touch him in a place where he needs it Lord. Open his eyes heavenly Father. And Lord blast through him and blow away the things that are no longer necessary heavenly Father. Pry his hands off of those things that aren’t taking him where he wants to go Lord and put him __ Lord in the direction that You want him to head. Give him boldness heavenly Father and focus Lord that he’s been lacking and energy in his heart heavenly Father that he can claim what You’ve laid out before him. Let his wife see it, let his children see it, and let them fall in behind him Lord in where he’s going to lead heavenly Father Lord. I just pray Your blessings over his name because so many people will be blessed in turn heavenly Father once he gains focus, once he is renewed, once he is refreshed Lord. Bless my brother Lord and bring our community together heavenly Father to pray for him Lord. Watch over him and strengthen him and guide him. We pray these things in Jesus’ name. Love You brother.
Hi, Daily Audio Bible family, Andrea Delane hear from Kentucky. I want to give you a word of encouragement today and it’s from first John 1:9 and it says, “if we confess our sins he is trustworthy and righteous to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” And I don’t know if you’ve ever been in a place like I have been, struggling with some sins or struggling with unbelief and doubt, but the Lord’s been encouraging me that the sooner I come blame, the sooner I confess my sins the great high priest, Yeshua, the sooner I can walk in that victory. And I want to encourage you, like, maybe life is really hard right now and maybe there’s some things that you’ve just been holding back and your lie, what’s the use. I want to encourage you that in Proverbs it says something like this, that you may fall seven times but the righteous get up eight. And I want to encourage you in endurance and in perseverance today and that if there’s something you’re struggling with and it’s gotten so bad, I want you to keep getting’ back up, keep getting’ up and confessing your sins. Don’t just beg and beg. There’s a place I was like begging God’s forgiveness. It’s already available to you. All you have to do, according to Scripture, is confess your sins, come clean, take personal responsibility, just be transparent and open and vulnerable with Yeshua. He can handle it, no matter what you’ve done, where you’ve been, what you’re going through. Don’t receive the guilt, the lies of the enemy. Receive the forgiveness and humble yourself. I’ve been experiencing this…it’s such a beautiful thing. When I fell in sin the enemy wants to hide you, he wanted to hide me in shame, say whatever and keep you down even more. I’m telling you, the best thing that you can do to fight the enemy is get up and receive the forgiveness of Christ because He is victorious and that’s what He came to die for. He didn’t come to die for the fervent, He came to die for those who fell in sin and we are all sinners and we have all…some of us have been saved by grace…we are now saints and we have that right as heirs to come before His throne. So, I just want to encourage you today, whether you have failed…
Hi, I’ve just been listening for a couple weeks now. This podcast is been a huge, huge blessing. I’m very busy and I’ve been craving the word, and this really just gives me the opportunity to just dive right in at any time. So, thank you for maintaining this and thank you all for praying for each other. And my request is that I will be able to find a way to keep my little boy, he’s six months old, at home. I’ve prayed for him for a long time and after many years he’s finally here and I want more than anything to be with him and take care of him, but I may not be financially able to do that. So, I’m praying for an opportunity for either me to be home with him more, whatever that looks like, or for his father to be able to take care of him. I just want him to be home and cared for. I don’t want to put in daycare. And I’m remembering the Scripture that a wise woman builds up her house, but folly tears it down. So, help me to build my house, take care of my family, let go of my expectations and my desires and help me to do what’s best for my family to keep us all sound…intact. So, thank you all. I am praying for you all and every day I listen, and I do pray along with you guys in your situations. So, bless you all. Love you. Bye.
Hi, my name is Susie from Colorado and I’m calling because I really, really need you guys to pray for me and my husband and our kids. We are in desperate need of prayer. We have 120 children, 65 who are handicapped or severely ill, labeled terminally ill, actually. We have a children’s home in Haiti that we take abandoned children who’ve been left at the government hospital and we raise them. And a lot of them don’t live very long, but it’s just really taken a toll on our hearts and emotionally. We’ve been doing this for 25 years. We are exhausted physically, emotionally, financially, although God has really blessed us with great work and, you know, I have no complaints about that, but we just need help. We have just lost one of our sons, his name was Stevie, he was 12, heart failure due to severe seizures all of his life. And I just want to lift up a few my kids who have been told who have a very short life expectancy and we may be sending on to God this year: Job, Junior, Watson, Val, Lucian, Yaron, Pedro, Lepardis, Romagna. Would you please pray for all of our kids? That’s just part of the ones that are terminally ill, but those are, you know, we’ve been told that they probably won’t survive the year and they’ve been with us for so many years, they’re part of our family. We love them, and it hurts so deeply. So, pray for us please…
