Deuteronomy 13:1-15:23, Luke 8:40-9:6, Psalms 71:1-24, Proverbs 12:5-7
Today is the 30th day of March welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian as I am most every day and it’s great to be here with you today as we take the next step forward not only to the conclusion of our week, but also the next step forward in our Scriptures and we’ve been reading from the book of Deuteronomy listening to Moses give his final discourses, the final things that he wants to counsel and speak to the to the children of Israel while he is their leader because they’re about to move on toward the Jordan River under new leadership and he is about to be become a part of their history. So, we’ll pick up where we left off yesterday. We’re reading from the Good News Translation this week. Deuteronomy chapter 13, 14 and 15 today.
Prayer:
Father, we thank You for another week in Your word and another week to continue the rhythm forward day by day, step-by-step, week by week, month by month. And it’s amazing to see the way that simply allowing Your word wash over us into our lives and seep down into our hearts, how radically that changes the way we think about things and continually exposes the things that are dark within us, it continually surfaces those things so that they can’t be buried. You continue bringing things up so that they can be dealt with. So, we are grateful. Sometimes it’s hard work but that hard work is a hard-press toward freedom. And, so, we thank You for this. We invite Your Holy Spirit to plant the words that we read this week into our lives and hearts and continue the work of sanctification within us and we look forward to all that You have yet in store for us as we begin to prepare to step into a new month. Come Holy Spirit we pray. We love You Jesus and we pray these things in Your name. Amen.

Hi, good morning, it’s March 27th, this is Jackie from New Jersey. I haven’t called in for quite a while. It was last year at the beginning of the year I think it was. But I’m calling in because I just heard…this is March the 27th…I just heard…I don’t know what her name was…Karen or Sharon from Chicago. I couldn’t make her name out…so…but she’s having trouble with her son. She had to put him out because he was having rage attacks against her. I had the same issue with my grandson and I took care him off and on for years because him and my daughter could get along and they both are bipolar, but I couldn’t do it anymore myself and I can understand what you’re talking about. And I just recently got back in contact with my grandson. He’s at a rehabilitation center now and I think they’re sending him away for at least two months because he did have problems with marijuana and drinking a little. But I can tell you that it will get better, it will get better. Believe me because I know with him gone for a little while your brain will function a little bit better and if you need to talk my email address is jander2134@comcast.net. Hey Daily Audio Bible family this is Jay from Nashville Tennessee. So, yeah, pray for me guys. My car got the kiss of death from my mechanic and he’s recommending that I do not try to salvage it. So, just pray for me that I get approved for something that will be conducive for the job that I do. It’s gotta have a lot of cargo space and hopefully good gas mileage. So…but I’m thinking about you guys. Kristi from Kentucky am praying for you. Alfi from Delaware, I’m also praying for you as well. You know this whole like process of being a human is overwhelming at times, especially in moments like this where, you know, you got your check engine light on and you don’t know if the car’s gonna break down before you get one or not. But I do find comfort in focusing on God, focusing on His will, focusing on His plan and recognizing that He has never forsaken me in the past in any way shape or form. He’s always made sure that I’ve been taken care of, always made sure that I have what I need. And, so, now I just lean on Him in this moment, recognize still that He is there and He is in control. Good morning guys this is Cherry Chase Cherry Pie. I am actually calling in a request for myself. Just pray for me you guys. I’m having a hard time on the job. It’s seems like these people are just __ people in my life. The just…everything I try to do or try to…I hope you hear me because there’s a lot of noise…but I’m trying to gather myself. It seems like they don’t want me in that position and they just straight up…just tell me no and would choose someone else. So, I’m asking for prayer for God to either move me or move the people out and that’s my prayer because I want to do a lot more. Right now, I’m just so upset that I just can’t believe how they think they’re in control. Think they’re so in control it’s unreal. But you guys keep continuing to pray for me and lift me up today because today is not a good day for me, not on my job, it’s not a good day. I love you guys. I’m gonna continue to pray for you guys and I know you will pray for me. As I always say, have a great day, make it a great day.
