Today is March 10th. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I’m Brian and, of course, it’s great to be here with you. If I was here by myself that would be lonely, so I’m glad that we can be here together for the next step forward and together being the operative word. We’re in this together no matter what is going on, as we move our way through the scriptures. So back out into the wilderness we will go. The children of Israel have been on the move, but have gotten some really bad news from the spies that went into the promised land to scout it out. We’ll pick up there. Numbers chapter 14, verse 1 through 15:16 today. We’re reading from the Good News Translation this week.
Prayer
Father, we thank you for your word. We thank you for what it does. It illuminates our path and it exposes our hearts. So all these fits and starts that we see, these missteps in the Old Testament, we’ve made them. They look different, but they have had consequences in our lives. We see the missteps of those who were in charge of the spiritual welfare of your people when they conspired against you, Jesus. Although we haven’t conspired to put you to death, the same denial of your authority and your power and your sovereignty in this world and in our lives, we know that. So you expose our hearts and sometimes that is painful. Sometimes it hurts, but it is unto something good – our restoration and freedom, our sanctification. So we welcome that, especially in this season. We welcome that. Come Lord Jesus, continue to speak to us through your word and through the voice of your Holy Spirit in our lives. We ask this in the name of our Savior Jesus, amen.

Community Prayer Requests and Praise Reports
Hi DAB family. My name is Stephanie. I’m calling from North Carolina. I’m a first-time caller, but I’ve been listening to the Daily Audio Bible for about three years now. I’m pretty nervous to call. I’m not really the best public speaker, but I wanted to be obedient to the Holy Spirit and after about two weeks of building up the courage, here I am. So I’m just calling because the past six months for me have been so amazing. I’ve experienced things through the Holy Spirit that I can really only explain as being endowed with my spiritual gift of vivid visions. After an amazing vision on 02/16, I woke up to listen to the 02/17 podcast and the first two callers were women that I felt were also blessed with this spiritual gift. The first woman was speaking of her vision of a thorny and narrow path. And the second woman actually heard the voice of God about Gigi’s healing, so after hearing those two calls, the Holy Spirit just told me I needed to call in and petition my DAB family to ask our Father to reveal their individual spiritual gifts to them. If you suffer from depression, maybe your spiritual gift will give you purpose. If you’re just sort of in limbo and you’re not sure what to pray for, ask for your spiritual gift so you can go to the next level of glory with God. I just know that this is so vital to his kingdom plan and I know that it will help us to feel a part of the body of Christ and I know that it is meant for everyone that is in the kingdom, so I hope you guys add this to your spiritual prayer list. I hope that it brings awakening to you. If you do add it and you do receive it, I hope that it brings the glory that I’ve experienced from having it. I love you guys, and if I can just leave you with two scriptures that I think have helped me: 1 Corinthians 12 and 2 Corinthians 3 and 8. Those are the two that have really been impactful to me for spiritual gifts and just going to the next glory with God. Love you guys. Bye.
Hi Daily Audio Bible family. This is Laura in Houston. I’m calling because I just went to a funeral today and it really touched my heart. It was for a man who was really led by the Spirit and loved Jesus and followed the Spirit. I know I’ve wanted that, but I thought, during the funeral I was praying. I said, “God, that’s what I want. I want to have those streams of living water flowing out of me and whatever that will look like in my life.” I don’t even know because he works through each person so beautifully and uniquely and I want that in me to bless others and to bless the Lord. I thought who better to call and ask to pray with me for that than my Daily Audio Bible family? So thank you for praying for me for that. I know God will answer that prayer. It may be just __________ and most certainly requires some kind of sacrifice of my flesh, but that will be good and it will bear good fruit and that is what I want. I want to be like this tree planted by streams of water bearing its fruit in its season. Yeah, so if you can pray for me to have more of the Holy Spirit in my life and to do whatever the Lord __________, I appreciate that. Thank you family. Love you all. Bye-bye.
Hi, this is Victorious Soldier. I’m calling tonight to pray for Steve. I was listening to him and he’s going through some really severe challenges. Steve, I just want to let you know that I love you and I’m praying for you. Don’t give up. God has something for you. You belong to the church. You have to let go and let God. Ask God to give you what to say. Ask God to guide you. Lord, in the name of Jesus, you touch Steve from the crown of his head to the sole of his feet. Lord, you bless his going out and coming in from this day forward and even forevermore. Lord, you crown his head with wisdom and knowledge. You send your angels of protection around him, Lord. Take away the depression. Take away the things that are holding him down, Lord. Let him know that you have a plan and a purpose for his life. It is for a future and a hope. Don’t worry about the marriages and the relationship that didn’t come together. Trust God that yours will, that he has a plan for you, he has a person for you. He said it is not good for man to be alone, but that he would have a helpmeet. You need a helpmeet. Lord, you bless him with a wife that will love him and that will help him and strengthen him, Lord, and together they can be one in Christ Jesus. Lord, you continue to have your way. Bless the Dabbers, Lord. Continue to have your way and Lord, continue to hold them and touch them and keep them in your hand. Increase his territory, that there is no more pain. Hi, this is Harlena from Hawaii and I wanted to reach out to Salvation is Mine. I’m crying because your prayer request touched me so much. I was crying and interceding for you. You’re the one that had breast cancer. You called and you had lupus. There is something else, neuropathy. So as I was interceding for you, this is what the Lord showed me. When you stand in the gap for someone, God can give you revelation. And so I’m just going to pray. I know I’m not the only one, so I lift you up right now, in Jesus’ name. I seek peace to your soul. Father, I thank you for my sister, __________, I think that is what her name was. Father, I lift her up. Father God, we stand in the gap for her right now, in the name of Jesus. I come against every demonic assignment against her life, every demonic attack. I bind it in the name of Jesus and I release the holy healing oil of God on you right now. I plead the blood of Jesus over any gap in the hedge. I stand in the hedge and I plead the blood of Jesus over any entry point that the enemy has access to cause damage, to kill, steal, or destroy in your life. And Father God, right now we just repent on my sister’s behalf for any pride or anything that gave an entry point for the enemy. We fill every entry point with the blood of Jesus. Father God, you said we have the authority to forgive sins, so Father God, we thank you and we thank you for your forgiveness and your blood. Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over my sister. I speak peace to her and life, courage and hope. There is hope in Jesus Christ. Just continue to look upon him. He is your Savior. He is your Salvation. I love you, my sister. Hey Dabbers. This is Slave of Jesus in North Carolina. Alright, Holy Spirit, let’s roll. This is a new place for me to call in. I only have two bars so hopefully this comes through well. Lord, we ask you to watch over Matthew’s boss Rodney. We ask you to watch over his family, give him supernatural strength and give Matthew the wisdom so he can preach your word in that situation. In Jesus’ name, amen. Lord, we ask you to watch over Kevin in California. Amen to all your prayers for your sons, about Levi, Moses, and Tekoa. You just want the best for them. That is great. That is great. That is a father’s heart. I can see you’re struggling with that so we ask you to give him peace in that and some resolution in this so that only good happens out of it. Do you ever get goosebumps when Alphaio calls in like I do? Alphaio, man, just keep it up. That is all I can say about you. Lord, we ask you to watch over Brian in Costa Mesa. Lord, we know he has been out of work for a long time, Lord, but he is so positive about this. Lord, I ask you to supernaturally give him provision, that he will turn around and know it’s absolutely from you and he can glorify you. And we ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I’ve got 40 seconds to tell my story. So a motorcycle accident, broken ribs. I literally got on my phone and e-mailed a Dabber 5000 miles away in another continent. Back then we didn’t have Facebook. They put prayers out on there. Couldn’t breathe. Couldn’t talk. I was with my wife in the accident. They did a chest x-ray and they said well, we’ve got a problem. We’ve got broken ribs here, here, and here, but that is not the problem. You’ve got an air pocket outside of your lung. Meanwhile, there are thousands of people praying for me around the world including other people I texted. That we need to do a full MRI so we can figure out how to stop this thing or figure out what is going on. You probably have punctured lungs. After the MRI, just four hours later, they said that I had healed myself. Praise God. Love you for the prayers, guys. Keep them coming. Talk to you later.
Hello, this is Miguel from California. I’m calling for Dean. Brother, I heard you call in with your prayer request. You’re talking about, it sounds like you’re struggling to find a sense of belonging. It sounds like you’re going through a heck of a wilderness and, man, as you were talking, I’m sure there were plenty other listeners that were just like me, just kind of raising our hand, being like, man, brother, we’ve been there. We’ve been there. We hear you talking and we recall crying out those same things. All that to dispel the first lie which is that you’re alone in what you’re going through. That’s a lie straight from the enemy and we want to cast that out. Whenever I’ve been going through wildernesses, and I’ve gone through a few, I’m always encouraged by how Jesus went through the wilderness with looking at each temptation and each lie and responding with “it is written.” Press into the word. There are a few psalms that stuck out to me. Psalm 34. It is written, the righteous cry out and the Lord hears them. He delivers them from all their troubles. It is written in Psalm 40, I waited patiently for the Lord. He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the flames, out of the mud and mire. He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him. It is written in Psalm 3, but you, Lord, are a shield around me and my glory, the one who lifts my head high. Dean, may the Lord lift your head high. May he be your shield around you. I proclaim these things in Jesus’ name. May the glory of Jesus shine through you, brother. You are loved.
