Today is the fifth day of November, welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian and it is a joy and a privilege and an honor to be here with you today, as we gather around the Global Campfire and take the next step forward together and bring another one of our weeks, that we get to spend together, to a close. Which means that we will enter the first full week of this 11th month of the year, tomorrow. But regardless of where we are on the calendar, we are here to do something very specific, and that is to take the next step forward together on our journey through the Scriptures, that next step leads us back into the book of Ezekiel. We’re reading from the English Standard Version this week and today, Ezekiel chapter 12 verse 1 through 14 verse 11.
Prayer:
Father, we thank You for Your word and we thank You for another week. And the weeks are beginning to wind down. And that brings a sense of melancholy, but also a sense of excitement. We have some of the busiest weeks of the year that are, that are out in front of us. So, as we just mark where we are in time and look at what’s going on, we thank You for Your faithfulness in our lives and we confess, yet again, our utter dependence upon You and our ultimate need of You and Your guidance and direction in our lives. We thank You once again for the gift of the Scriptures in our lives, transforming us, leading us on the narrow path that leads to life. So, come Holy Spirit and plant what we’ve read this week into our hearts. We look forward longingly, to all that You have yet to reveal to us through Your word this year, lead and guide us, we pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

And that is something that we each need and that is something that will be challenged as we move forward into the more busy portions of the year, even the most stressful portions even though they’re joyous, some of the most joyous moments in the year, leading up to and around all of that can be an awful lot of stress, trying to figure out an awful lot of things and that can find its way into our sleep. And so, this resource has been created to give us space, it feels restful, it feels calming and that just kind of lulls us into a deep, restorative sleep. So, that resource is available now, came out this week. It is available wherever it is that you stream your music or purchase your downloadable music like iTunes, etc. worldwide, all the different distributors, all the different streaming services throughout the world should have Sleep, A Contemplative Journey. And so, you can check that out and I hope that you will.

Good morning family, this is Inna from London. Praise God, we made it to November, today, the 1st, we made it to the 11th month. We praise our Father; we thank Him for bringing us so far. Oh Brian, I waited yesterday, up till midnight, to get my copy of Sleep, because I had pre-ordered it. So, I used that yesterday. I haven’t really, I’ve been off from work, I haven’t been able to sleep that much. You know, so I’ve been off for over 4 weeks now. So, yesterday, oh goodness sake. I waited until midnight to get my copy. I don’t even know how long I was listening to sleep before I feel asleep. And I woke up in the middle of night and just put it on again. It’s so soothing. My goodness, it’s so soothing. And hearing your voice Brian, just put me to sleep. Oh, I haven’t had this kind of sleep for a very long time. Because I toss and turn and turn the whole night. But yesterday, I slept like a baby. I’m just waking up now you know. I woke up in the morning and went back to sleep, it’s actually 11 o’clock. I’m just waking up now. This resource, guys, you won’t want to miss out. Everybody’s that’s having problems sleeping or just wants a soothing voice, go for it, go for it.
Yes, DAB family, praise the Lord, this is Pastor Steven in Southwest Ohio. Just wanting to call and give God praise for His continued mercies and blessings every day. And for all of you who call in, and I’ve heard so many requests, concerning of course many different things. And I just want to say, the Lord is in control. The Holy Spirit is leading and directing all of you. Even for those of you who seem to be downhearted and discouraged or physically not well. Just want to lift up a prayer for you right now. Heavenly Father, in Jesus name, and through the power and presence of Your Holy Spirit and by his precious blood, touch and heal and mend as only You can, and we’ll give you the glory. For every name that’s been called in, I lay at your feet. I thank You for Your blessings upon me and my family. And just give You all the praise. Hello Daily Audio Bible family, this is Ethan from the greater Phoenix area, Arizona, United States. I’d like to pray for the man who called on October 30th, the one who applied to over 300 jobs and just sounded like he was at absolute rock bottom. I, my heart broke for this man. I remember him saying he wanted people to pray that he, that God doesn’t wake him up in the morning or that God wipes his name and any joy associated from it, in the history books. If you’re listening sir, I am not gonna pray for that. I’m not gonna pray for that. I’m gonna pray for something else. I’m gonna pray that God renews your sense of joy, that shows that this time in your life, though is devastating and as unbearably painful as it may be, He’s not done with you. You’re still valuable to Him.

I’m so grateful for our Lord. Thank You for this new marriage, even though it is a ten-year-old relationship, all that bounty and the open gates of blessing through submitting to You Lord, is truly amazing. We want to bless Mark and Sue in their marriage. Lord, and that it would prosper, and that prosperity would flow and trickle down into every aspect of their lives, their kids and their kids and their kids and so forth. We lift up Taylor right now, and his mental capacity to be only in the moment. I ask that he would, You would open his eyes to a more grand picture, Lord. It seems like when we get discouraged, we get so focused on just what’s in front of us. Lord, I ask that he would see and understand the great grand picture that You have for him, Lord. I want to life up his parents Jay and Kate, Lord, as they are leading and working with Taylor, Lord. Just their love being poured out in extravagant ways as parents, Lord, I thank You for that relationship. Lord, You are amazing and thank You for working in this family.
