Leviticus 11:1-12:8, Mark 5:21-43, Psalms 38:1-22, Proverbs 10:8-9
Today is the 21st day of February welcome to the Daily Audio Bible I’m Brian welcome to a brand-new shiny sparkly week another one of the weeks that we get to begin together, another opportunity for us to consider reset, restart. This week is out in front of us. Yeah, there may be some things that are gonna carry over from the last week, but this week is pretty much in our future and we get to decide how we’re going to live into it and we’re doing the right thing by continuing the rhythm of the Scripture in our lives to inform the choices and decisions and motivations that are in front of us. And, so, brand-new week. Of course, we pick up right where we left off, which will bring us back into the book of Leviticus in the Old Testament and the gospel of Mark in the New Testament. But this…this week we’ll read from the New Living Translation. And, so, let’s dive in. Leviticus chapters 11 and 12 today.
Prayer:
Father, we thank you for this brand-new week, this final full week of the second month of the year. And we’re asking father that even as we mark the time by saying it’s a shiny sparkly new week because it is that we might follow you every step of the way, that we might pause and consider what the Scriptures are teaching us about our motives, about the…the reasons that we do the things that we do. What we realize is that if we will consider if we will meditate, if we will contemplate the things, the choices, if we will put a space between reacting, even if just for a second that is space for you to work in our lives, leading us, guiding us that we might make right correct decision. And, so, come Holy Spirit continue to lead us with your word. Continue to show us how to garden the soil of our lives so that we are good soil. Continue to show us the paths of wisdom, that we might walk in her shadow and continue to lead us into all truth we pray. In the mighty name of Jesus, we ask. Amen.
