Today is the 7th day of September. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian and it’s great to be here with you today as we come around the global campfire as a community and take the next step forward in the Scriptures. Yesterday we began the Song of Songs or the Song of Solomon and that my wife Jill and I have traditionally read this together. And, so, today we will conclude the Song of Songs by reading chapter 5 verse 1 through 8:14 today.
Prayer:
Father, we thank you for your word. We thank you for the rhythm of it in our lives, step-by-step, day by day as it transforms us. We thank you that your word speaks to every issue of life and every experience and emotion of life. And, so, we greet you Holy Spirit. Come, plant the words read today in our lives, that they might yield the fruit of the Spirit in our hearts, minds, and lives. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Hi. My name is Risa. I’m from Claremont Florida. This is my first time calling. I’d never think I would do this but this is very important and I need prayer for my sister Harriet. We call her Hen. But as I was at the DAB reunion tonight I got a call saying that she was in the hospital, possible heart trouble. They’re thinking about putting a stent in her tomorrow and I am 13 hours away from my house and it’s a long way to Buffalo New York. But anyways, they’re thinking about if the stent doesn’t work that the she’s going to be open heart surgery. So, my sisters my best friend in the whole world and I just…I really need a lot of prayers and I really thank you. I’m just glad that I have this to reach out to you. And thank you ahead of time for your prayers. But her name…we call her Hen. So, would you if you could please remember her in your prayers. Thank you very much and God bless you all.

Hey Daily Audio Bible it’s To Be a Blessing in California. Happy Labor Day. Come unto thee all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. That’s why I’m calling, to ask you to pray for my sister, that God would give her rest, that she would go to Him, that she would learn that He is trustworthy, and that while father on earth betrayed her and so made a ways and treated her poorly in so many ways, ways that she’s unable to get beyond, she’s decided that forgiveness is not a possibility. I know a God who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we could ask of Him. And I’m just asking that God would touch her heart and inviting you to pray with me in agreement so that she would learn about the freedom that comes from Jesus. Thank you so much family for doing this for me. All I can think about is what a life she would have if she would just let Jesus take her heart and to give her the gift of forgiveness so that she could forgive our father and be free. And if that is the case for anyone here, I am praying for you as well because there is nothing like living in the past, a past that will only shackle you and limit your capacity. Happy Labor Day Daily Bible family. This is Prosperous Pam from the San Francisco Bay area. It is Labor Day, Monday and I heard today’s message and it was just for me and I just needed to…I’m talking casually like it’s not a big deal but it’s probably the most powerful message I’ve heard since I’ve been going through what I’ve been going through the past year and a half, two years. And that is…Brian…when you were sharing the Scripture about…you know…about just being ahead of ourselves and not being in the present. And…we hear that a lot…I hear that a lot, but God just spoke to me so profoundly when I heard that message. So, I just want…of course I have a call coming in, right? So, I can’t focus on one thing…but Lord I just pray that the family, Daily Audio Bible family, would you please keep me lifted in prayer, that I am healed from that anxiety of looking always ahead, focusing on ahead. And time just goes on and on and on. You know, and I’m 51 years old and my life has always been thinking ahead. And that’s the message today…just was profound…like…it was so amazing. So, please just keep me lifted because that is one of my biggest life struggles if not the biggest life struggle. And it’s not being in the present moment. So, I just thank you Brian.
